Laser Sailing Clinic - Stampede Resevoir

Service Description

This clinic is for people who already have a Laser and would like to learn basic boathandling. This two-day intensive session will give you the confidence to race in the Monday night Laser sailing summer series at Lake Forest. Participants need to have their own Laser and have basic sailing knowledge. You will learn how to set your boat up for success, how to adjust sail shape for different wind strengths and points of sail. How to hike, steer through waves, and sail "On Angle" using tell tales. You will also get recommendations on what you can do to improve your boat so that it is easier to sail. The course runs from 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday and Sunday. Lasers are not easy boats to sail but if you can sail a Laser, you can sail anything.
